The design respects the traditional urban fabric and the appropriate use of materials. A focus on low-energy use introduces design features that are intended to maximise natural light, ventilation and harvesting of rainwater. This project demonstrates that a positive contribution to sustainable living can be made by integrating environmental considerations in the design.
